I had my kidneys removed in March due to polycystic kidney disease (PKD), was on dialysis for a few months, and then in May, received a new kidney, courtesy of my brother-in-law. Thank you, Michael! My new organ (I already had a piano) is working beautifully. I no longer need blood pressure meds for the first time in 25 years -- and I feel great.
